6.2 Declared Value and Coverage

Default coverage is limited to $100 per package unless higher value is declared and additional insurance is purchased. For high-value items:

  • Declared value must be accurate and verifiable
  • Additional insurance fees apply
  • Proof of value may be required for claims
  • Coverage limitations and exclusions apply

6.3 Claims Process

To file a claim for loss or damage:

  • Report incidents within 24 hours of discovery
  • Provide detailed documentation and evidence
  • Allow reasonable time for investigation
  • Accept our reasonable settlement offers

6.4 Liability Limitations

Our liability is limited to the declared value of the item or actual loss, whichever is less. We are not liable for:

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Soma Ko Logistics, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

  • Items you ship or transport through our services
  • Your negligent or wrongful conduct

This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and your use of our services.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting our customer service team. We will work in good faith to resolve any issues.

If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation with a mutually agreed-upon mediator. The costs of mediation will be shared equally between the parties.
